After nearly a decade of ideas, inspiration, experiments, reflections, and discoveries, it feels right to conclude this part of my creative journey.
What began as a way to better understand creativity became a much bigger experience for me. I was able to explore the origins of creativity and see it flourish within myself. I met the most amazing creatives from around the world who inspired me. Some have even become close friends and collaborators.
I’m closing this chapter of my life, but the ideas and inspiration will remain. The posts will stay up as a reminder of this time and remain as inspiration to all.
When I started this blog in the early aughts, I was in a creative life transition. I had recently left my life in Washington, DC, where I was a museum educator and curator, to return to my hometown of Cleveland, OH. Feeling alone and isolated from the creativity I had experienced before, I started this blog as a way to chronicle my own budding creativity.
While that continues for me in new ways, I want to thank everyone who read, commented, shared, and collaborated, and became part of this community over the years.
This blog may be archived, but creativity never is.
Keep making, keep creating. And most importantly, keep sharing your gifts with the rest of the world.
